The symposium committee is pleased to announce that the 2015 ISA WWAC Symposium, scheduled for Aug 4-6, 2015, will be held at the the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, USA near Orlando.
Situated in the middle of Walt Disney World®, Wyndham Lake Buena Vista overlooks all of Disney’s Florida empire, including Downtown Disney®, right across the street. The hotel has been selected for its fine accommodations, large meetings rooms, and affordable price. Attendees will notice that the exhibitor room and speakers rooms are now twice as large as last year.
The conference rate at the hotel is $89/night. Being an Official Walt Disney World® Resort means there is a shuttle to all things Disney® and family-friendly amenities like the Oasis Aquatic Playground, as well as Oasis Bar & Grill to keep the whole family full of food and fun in the sun. Be sure to also catch the Disney® Character Breakfast in their Lakeview Restaurant 3 days a week (Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday), complete with a buffet and photo opportunities with two of the Disney “Fab Five” characters.
The 2015 Call for Abstracts is now available. Presenters have the option of three presentation formats: a 30 minute oral presentation with PowerPoint slides (no paper), a 6-12 page paper accompanied by 30 minute oral presentation with Power Point slides, or a large format 3’x4’ poster. The Call for Abstracts information page also includes a list of suggested paper topics.
Registration for the symposium will open on Tues, Nov 25, 2014 and will be priced at an early bird-rate of $425 for the 2.5 day symposium. ISA members have access to a discounted early-bird rate of $325. AWWA, WEF, FWEA, and ITA members also enjoy a discounted rate of $375. A conference hotel rate of $89/night has also been arranged for all symposium attendees. More information on symposium registration and how to register online will be made available shortly.
