David Wilcoxson grew up and spent his first 25 years in Nottingham, England. He attended Lincoln College of Technology in Lincoln, England, and graduated with a Degree in Industrial Measurement and Control.

He began work as a Plant Engineer for Bayer in their Biotechnology facility in Berkeley, CA. Then in 1994, He joined Stantec, in Walnut Creek and have been there ever since. In total he has over 34 years of technical, management and quality assurance experience in water/wastewater, pharmaceutical, chemical, and biotech industries. This includes extensive experience managing various engineering disciplines and architects, ensuring quality assurance and control, writing specifications, installing equipment, troubleshooting, programming and start-up in these industries. His current role for Stantec is Chief Instrumentation and Control Engineer.

Mr. Wilcoxson is very active with my profession being a board member of the Water/Wastewater Division of the International Society of Automation (ISA). He holds seven state licenses (CA, OR, WA, NV, CO, MD and NM) to practice Control Systems Engineering. He is also a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional) and an Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP).

In his life outside of work he is an avid soccer fan, he loves the outdoors and being around animals with previous volunteer work at the Lindsey Wildlife Museum. He also enjoys music and along with his wife they are both members of the Commonwealth Club of California.
