Jon Grant has over 19 years of experience in the design of instrumentation and control systems, with 12 years of experience involving municipal and industrial water and wastewater projects. He graduated from the University of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, and holds professional engineering licenses in multiple states. He is recognized as an ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert by the International Society of Automation (ISA). Jonathon leads the Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) design team, acting as technical and resource manager for a staff of engineers and CAD designers.
Jonathon began his career at Hallam-ICS in South Burlington, Vermont, where he was involved with the design and implementation of toxic gas monitoring systems in the semiconductor industry. He then moved to Woodard & Curran, an environmental engineering firm in Dedham, Massachusetts, where he works with large multidisciplinary teams on the design and upgrade of water facilities, encompassing treatment, collection and distribution for both municipalities and industry. Over the course of his career, Jonathon has developed piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), instrument data sheets, detailed control panel designs, municipal bid specifications and participated in construction administration for projects in various states.
