Peter Craan specializes in the design of Instrumentation and Control (I&C) systems for water and wastewater facility improvement and expansion projects, as well as for new facilities. He has over 30 years of experience in the design of control systems for various industries and been with Hazen and Sawyer since 1989 where he has worked on NYCDEP projects including: Croton WTP, Cat Del UV Disinfection Facility (Largest UV Drinking Disinfection Plant in the World ), Newtown Creek WPCP, Paerdegat CSO Facility, Red Hook WPCP, Bowery Bay WPCP, NYCDEP Collection Facilities Citywide SCADA QA/QC.
Prior to that, Mr. Craan worked in the chemical, power and nuclear waste industries at such diverse companies including Monsanto Chemicals, WasteChem Corp, Burns and Roe, Ebasco Services, Peabody Process Systems.
