In addition, winners will receive a complementary 2 year student ISA membership. Applications are due by email in January.  Winners will be notified in February via telephone and email, and will be required to provide a photo and short biography that can be used for publicity reasons. Scholarship money will be distributed by check and mailed after the winner is contacted and has supplied the required photo/bio. Scholarships will be awarded at the sole discretion of the WWID scholarship committee, with preference being given to students enrolled in technical programs that lead to careers in the water/wastewater sector.

The WWID scholarship is funded from the WWID’s endowment fund, which is managed as a sustainable fund by the ISA’s investment manager. The WWID’s annual scholarships paid out from the fund’s annual interest.
