How to Get the Digital Transformation Right (This Time) – Lessons from Three Decades in the Oil and Gas Industry
30 June, 2021
10 am – 11 am ET

Part 1
The oil and gas industry provides a great example of how many industries are globally integrating data science, artificial intelligence, and robotics into their production workflows to create a pattern of successful digital transformation within the business. Join ISA, Trendminer, and Martin Storey, Founder of Well Data QA, as we explore the successes and lessons learned from what decades of digital transformation within the oil and gas industry have taught us and how to survive the next wave of transformation. This webinar provides a deep dive into how you can better allocate resources and leverage technology into business process for greater success. Speaker: Martin Storey, Founder, Well Data QA Martin is a petroleum engineer with expertise in petrophysics and well data, acquired by working on rigs, in study and development teams, and in classrooms internationally. An independent consultant and trainer, he is the founder of Well Data QA, a Western Australia-based company that helps upstream organizations optimize the value of their oilfield data, using artificial intelligence technology when appropriate. He is an active member of SPE, SPWLA, and EAGE. He holds a BSc in Mathematical and Computer Sciences from Stanford University and an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology.
Part 2
For many people the DT concept is vague, and the benefits are unclear. In this webinar, TrendMiner Customer Success Manager Daniel Münchrath will take you beyond the hype, explain why it is necessary in today’s evolving landscape, why analytics projects fail (and how to succeed) and demonstrate how you can start leveraging all of the industrial data being generated for both quick wins and long-term success. Speaker: Daniel Münchrath, Customer Success Manager, TrendMiner With a degree in biochemical and chemical engineering and starting a new career at TrendMiner, Daniel brings the two worlds of industry and data analytics together. At TrendMiner, he has helped the DACH-division grow.
