The ISA has also partnered with the Florida Section of the AWWA and the Water Environment Federation (WEF) to certify training credits for use for state-licensed water and wastewater operators, and for state-registered professional engineers. Read the training course CEU/PDH certification. Attendees can receive Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) approved CEUs and PDHs for the training course, as certified by the Florida AWWA. These CEUs are recognized by the FDEP, as well as many other state licensing boards thanks to reciprocity agreements.All attendees have the benefit of receiving approved CEUs/PDHs (from either the ISA or FSAWWA) for the hours spent in the training course and symposium towards their water/wastewater operator and PE license continuing education requirements. About the Instructors
John Cusimano, CFSE, CISSP is director of exida’s security services division. A process automation safety, security and reliability expert with more than twenty years of experience, John leads a team devoted to improving the security of control systems for companies worldwide. He has conducted or supervised numerous cyber security assessments of control system products, systems, sites and corporations.
John is chairman of ISA 99 WG4 TG2 Zones & Conduits committee and co-chair of ISA 99 WG4 TG6 Product Development committee. He represents exida as a voting member on the ISA-99 standards committee on control system security and the ISA Security Compliance Institute’s Technical Steering Committee. John is also active in a variety of other ISA S99, ISA S84, and ICSJWG working groups. John is also a qualified Achilles™ communication robustness test engineer.
Prior to joining exida, John led market development for Siemens’ process automation and safety products and held various product management positions at Moore Products Co. John started his career at Eastman Kodak Company, where he implemented and managed automation projects.
John has a B.S. degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Clarkson University and holds a CFSE and CISSP certification.
Don Lovell is currently an automation consultant assisting customers in defining their automation road map to meet their business objectives. Don has been involved in the process automation field for 40 years with experience in batch and continuous applications. Industries included beverage, cement, fine chemical, food, paper and industrial boilers. Employer history includes Honeywell, ITT Education Services, Kellogg, Invensys and Rockwell Automation.
Don worked for Kellogg Company for 11 years. First as a Corporate Technical Trainer responsible for technical and craft training skills of new technologies for plant expansions, and new plant startups. He completed his career with Kellogg as the Maintenance Resource in the process and utility areas. Don worked for the Foxboro Company for 19 years in the following positions, Food and Beverage Industry Marketing, Technical Sales Engineer, and National Account Manager in sales. With Rockwell Automation, he was a Batch Consultant, and a Business Consultant in the process industry.
Don has a degree in Electronics Engineering and is a Senior Life member of ISA , having served in local and national positions. He has authored numerous papers and presentations, process/operational training and maintenance manuals, and developed a four-year apprentice program for automation technicians. He is also a member of the Master Brewers Association of the Americas, where he lectures on brewery automation and Reliability Maintenance. Additionally, he has lectured both nationally and internationally for professional organizations such as ISA, IEEE, Distilled Spirits Council, American Oil and Chemist Society, and American Society of Sugar Cane Technologist.
