The ISA Water/Wastewater Industries Division (WWID) was pleased to participate in the ISA’s 2017 Fall Leaders Meeting. The FLM, as it known, is the ISA’s society-level Annual General Meeting. This year the FLM took place in Tampa Bay Florida on Oct 28 – Nov 1, 2017 at the Tampa Bay Grand Hyatt Hotel. Some 600 ISA senior leaders were attendance from around the world.
At the leader meeting, WWID Director Kevin Patel provided a year-in-review update report to the Joint I&S/A&T Board on Saturday October 28, 2017. The WWID reported on its successful 2017 symposium that was help in August 2017, webinars held, collaboration with AWWA, FSAWWA, WEF, FWEA and NRWA, and also it’s successful co-hosted event in Chicago with WEFTEC 2017.
The WWID also conveyed it’s excitement about the recently formed ISA112 SCADA Systems Standards Committee, and remarked how many of its members are now involved with the standards committee.
The WWID also held a board meeting on Sunday, October 29, 2017 which about a dozen WWID leaders attended. This was followed by a dinner at popular Tampa fish restaurant overlooking the bay.
